Community guidelines
A safe space is built together. These guidelines help us support each other with care.
This text is a preliminary draft pending legal review.
Be kind
Every path is different: infertility, IVF, pregnancy loss, deciding not to continue treatment. Do not judge anyone’s decisions, beliefs or family. No insults, mocking of pain, pressure or hurtful comparisons.
Share experience, not prescriptions
You can tell what happened to you and what helped. Do not recommend medicines, doses or treatments as right for everyone, and do not discourage anyone from seeing a doctor. False or dangerous medical information is hidden.
Protect privacy
Use a pseudonym. Do not post names, photos, phone numbers, addresses or other details that identify you or your partner, and do not name doctors or clinics in an accusatory way. Do not copy what others write outside the platform.
No advertising
Do not promote clinics, products, services, paid egg/sperm donation or surrogacy, fundraising or commercial links.
Flag difficult content
When writing about pregnancy loss or other hard experiences, tick the content note so that people who are not ready can choose.
If someone is in danger
The community is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 112. Report worrying posts: the team sees them first, during the moderation hours shown on the community page.
Reporting and moderation
Use “Report” for posts that break the guidelines — reports are confidential. New members’ posts may be checked before publication. Moderators may hide posts, issue warnings or suspend accounts; decisions are communicated to you without quoting your post. If you disagree with a decision, write to [email protected].
